About the Waiheke Island ferry

The Waiheke Island ferry is Auckland's most popular ferry route, carrying over 1.5 million passengers per year. Three operators serve the island: Fullers360 and Island Direct run passenger ferries between downtown Auckland and Matiatia Wharf (about 40 minutes), while Sealink operates the only car ferry from Half Moon Bay and Wynyard Quarter to Kennedy Point (about 60 minutes). Sealink also carries foot passengers.
